When it comes to civic services or community apps, the technology experience can be challenging for the user. Why? Because several public entities can be involved or maybe because the flow tends to get complicated and there are few specialists to think about the easy way to get to the people’s needs.

“Let’s Do It, Romania!” app

Here’s an example. “Let’s do It, Romania” is built to empower all of us. And…clean up our local environments. They started with finding and reporting trash and rubbish in local areas, through yearly national offline events. We offered our input and helped them by building a mobile app that enables the reporting of trash anytime, anywhere. This kind of improvement has benefits for all of us, as a community. Who doesn’t want a cleaner environment, right?

Another recent project was a platform for sharing toys between children. How would that help, you’re wondering? The earlier the empathy is developed, the better human beings we are becoming. This way, children would learn since little that sharing is important and they would grow up as empathetic adults.

In completely different space, it’s the service we are building at the present to help doctors. The DSU mobile solution for resident doctors is an app built to help Emergency doctors get more time, be more efficient, feel more productive and in contact with technology. This might help the patients be treated faster and the doctors have more time to take care of them.

This is how our knowledge becomes rewarding for the wider community. We feel motivated by giving what we do best to others, understanding the needs of the society we live in, understanding our needs, thus helping in creating a better world, through technology.
