What you’ll do:

  • Designs, develops and documents Oracle PL/SQL components in accordance with requirements, specification, functional and technical design documents;
  • Collaborates with functional analysts, data and solution architects and Java developers to complete work, as required;
  • Proposes technical designs and aligns them with the data and solution architects;
  • Ensures architectural changes (as defined by architects) are implemented;
  • Participates in design reviews;
  • Writes SQL and PL/SQL code following internal coding conventions and standards;
  • Fixes software defects/bugs;
  • Measures and analyzes code for quality;
  • Supporting QA team to provide high quality;
  • Provides development estimates;
  • Agile working environment: Work with the Product Owner, Scrum Masters, Dev Team members, Security specialists and other groups to identify technical and functional needs;
  • Fully align with development and delivery process used in the project;
  • Be able to work in a global environment with mixed teams and mixed cultures at different time zones.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience of 7+ year with Oracle databases (10, 11, 12); 
  • Ability to understand logical and canonical data models, and design physical Oracle data models;
  • Proven experience with design of data warehouses and implementation of ETL processes;
  • Good command of Oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning;
  • Hands-on development with Oracle PL/SQL, following coding and packaging corporate standards;
  • Ability to factor code in packages/procedures that are unit testable;
  • SQL and application performance analysis and tuning;
  • Ability to plan database capacity and storage strategy to accommodate Terabytes of information;
  • Good experience in source code management, continuous build and integration technologies;
  • Knowledge of Unix & Windows scripting, and basic systems administration skills (utilities, commands, editors, basic investigation);
  • Knowledge of data base, network & system security.

  • TeamCity and UCD skills.
