QUALITANCE: co-founder of the first IT&C cluster in Bucharest
Our team kicks off in spring with a brand new project: co-founding the first IT&C cluster in Bucharest, Different Angle. The whole concept is aiming for a fresh cutting-edge perspective on technology and software. The cluster is founded by 11 companies with the purpose of enabling innovation, education and organic development for SMEs in the IT&C sector within the Bucharest region. This first IT&C cluster of Bucharest is meant to work as a collaborative environment but also as an academy.
The shared mission of QUALITANCE and Different Angle comes down to three basic objectives: promoting knowledge sharing between the academic and private sector, increasing the number of software specialists inside a market with already high, growing demands and supporting the local technology companies to create more value by facilitating knowledge and innovation transfer. Our first main topic, “Smart Cities”, commits to using digital technology for adjusting software platforms to citizens’ realistic needs.
The QUALITANCE CTO, Bogdan Raduta, offered a comprehensive presentation at the Different Angle launch. “Smart Cities” is a hot topic and we’re adopting a fast paced approach to solving this issue through a technique we firmly believe in: rapid-prototyping. Rapid-prototyping enables teams to build, test and deploy software faster than ever before, providing an innovative way of decision making that significantly reduces error and rework. By employing rapid prototyping techniques we can deliver fast, efficient Smart Cities solutions, using GIS to put collected data to its best use.
