Between October 15-16, the ZF Digital Summit 2018 brought on stage the most influential leaders in Romania’s digital economy. For the 8th year in a row, Ziarul Financiar, the leading business publication in Romania, invited authorities in the online world, IT and telecommunications to delve into the challenges that businesses are currently dealing with and share insights on the most effective business strategies and the latest trends.
This year too QUALITANCE took the stage at the Summit. More exactly, Managing Partner Radu Constantinescu was part of a panel discussion tackling how to identify the startups with a capacity for global growth and the means to support them.
Here are some of the insights that Radu shared with the business leaders, entrepreneurs, publishers, advertisers, marketers and developers in the audience:
#1 International know-how
If you want to accelerate your growth, you need to pay attention to the leaders in your industry. Watch how they do it, seek guidance from the experts, gain access to international know-how. It’s what enabled QUALITANCE to grow 10 times as much in just 6 years.
#2 The 3-layered focus
Any successful start-up show focus on 3 things: 1) solving a real problem; 2) finding a revolutionary solution to that problem; 3) using emerging technologies like AI, IoT, blockchain, etc. to build that solution.
#3 Differentiation
If you want your start-up to stand out and bear fruit, you need to offer your potential customers products and services that are 10 times better than what’s already on the market.
#4 Mindset
Even if your start-up doesn’t have a large upfront capital, you can still succeed as long as you rely on a team that takes ownership and embraces a test-and-learn approach to everything.
#5 Opportunity
This is a good time for Romanians to start companies. We now have easy access to valuable information, technologies and fundings. What’s more, we can rely on talented people with an impressive work experience.
